Wyoming Seminary's upper school offers a varied program that readies graduates for competitive colleges. There is a large choice of electives (including Advanced Placement courses) in history, the fine arts, mathematics, computer, science and English. College planning workshops, enrichment opportunities, ESL programs and an elite performing arts institute are among the summer offerings. Boys and girls participate in a compulsory extracurricular program that comprises service to the community and campus activities, arts or interscholastic athletics. An active service program progresses from group projects in the middle school to more demanding individual commitments in the upper school, where students satisfy a 40-hour service requirement prior to graduation. The Wyoming Seminary lower school is separately located three miles away in Forty Fort. Academics include accelerated courses, and computer science, art, music, health and physical education are integral parts of the program. Instruction in French and Spanish begins in kindergarten, while Latin commences in grade 7.
