Windsor School Windsor School
  • Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools
  • Registered by the New York State Education Department
  • Elected to membership in the College Entrance Examination Board and the College Scholarship Service

The Windsor School, grades 6-12 and Pre-University year, is dedicated to giving attention, identity, guidance and college preparation, not only to the gifted youngster, but also to the middle-range youngster, who is overlooked in larger schools. Small classes and involved teachers are the hallmark of the Windsor School.

All students have open, easy and informal access to all faculty members, guidance counselors and administrators–appointments are not necessary. College guidance is organized, thorough and successful.

The school is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. If an international student is accepted, an I-20 form is issued. Recently we have had students from 21 foreign countries for grades 7-12, or for the special Pre-University year: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brazil, Korea, China, Russia, Israel, Egypt, Thailand, India, Angola, Singapore, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sudan, etc.

The modern school building is centrally located near public transportation – buses, subway and Long Island Railroad.
