The Westover community is diverse, with 20% of students coming from minority backgrounds, and 19% representing 17 countries. Surrounding the central campus are playing fields, tennis courts, a pond, and walking and cross-country trails in woods extending over 130 acres. Students regularly join with the faculty to consult on recommendations regarding the academic program, activities, and school life. Dorm parents live on corridor, and they, together with faculty members, share with students in a rich extracurricular program.
