WPSD serves hearing-impaired individuals who are residents of Pennsylvania. In addition to its academic program, the school provides a complete after-school program that includes sports, clubs and activities for students of all ages; support services; a learning center featuring a mini-max theater; and a TV studio and video production department where students use digital technology to produce videos and daily news programs. A training program for teachers and a parent-teacher association are integral parts of the program for the education of the deaf. The school accepts the following conditions: Deafness.
