Virginia Episcopal School
400 Virginia Episcopal School Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24503
This church-related school was founded by the first bishop of the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, Rev. Dr. Robert Carter Jett. The college preparatory curriculum is presented in an environment that emphasizes the student's academic, social and athletic development. At all grade levels, boys and girls satisfy a 30-hour annual community service requirement. Lynchburg offers many cultural opportunities for supplementing the school program. Graduates of the traditional, thorough curriculum enter many colleges, predominantly institutions in the South.
