ULS maintains a strong college preparatory program. The 180-acre, wooded campus, located in the lake country of northwestern Waukesha County, provides a rural setting. The lower school emphasizes academics (reading, math, writing, history, science and Spanish) the arts—with offerings provided in music and movement—and athletics. This program continues in the middle school with the addition of dramatics, team sports and student government. Computer science is available in all grades, and the upper school curriculum includes Advanced Placement or honors courses in most subject areas. Boys and girls in grades 6-12 lease laptop computers for school use, the cost of which is incorporated into tuition.
