Thomas A. Edison High School

Edison offers an individualized high school program for adolescents who, due to learning disabilities or difficulties, have been unable to succeed in a traditional school setting. The curriculum focuses on reading and study skills, language arts, math, social studies, science and health. Classes are small and a noncompetitive grading system is used. Many pupils graduate from Edison, although some conclude their high school studies elsewhere. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, Discalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Learning Differences, Nonverbal Learning Differences, Tourette’s Syndrome.
