The Wyndcroft School The Wyndcroft School

The school was founded on the Hill School campus by the wives of Hill School faculty who wanted to provide a sound elementary education for their young children. Although Wyndcroft has been independent since 1920, it continues to maintain a close relationship with Hill. The academic program provides a sound foundation in English, math, science, social studies and the arts. French instruction begins in the preschool program and continues through grade 8, while Latin is introduced in grade 5. Each grade works on a specific community service project during the year. Music, art groups and field trips are among the extracurricular activities. All boys and girls in grades 6-8 take part in either a team sport or a coeducational athletic option each season.
