The Regent's School Pattaya
33/3 Moo 1, Pong, Banglamung, Chonburi, 20150 Thailand
In the lower grades at Regent's, teachers use play to stimulate learning; a more formal approach to literacy and numeracy follows as children progress. Conducted in a small-class setting, the primary program (grades 2-5) includes instruction in music, information technology and physical education. The school provides frequent opportunities to learn about Thai culture and festivals, as well as the Thai language. In grades 6-8, pupils study core subjects, then have increased course options from grade 9. Boys and girls dedicate themselves to preparing for the IGCSE and A-level examinations in grades 9-12. Regent's offers an array of extracurricular opportunities. Primary school children engage in an after-school program that operates two days per week. Older students participate in a varied program that features performing arts, land and water sports, and community service options. A second campus, also enrolling boys and girls in grades PS-12, operates at 592 Pracha-Uthit Rd., Huai Kwang, Bangkok 10310 (66-2-690-3777).
