Pennfield utilizes traditional and modern teaching methods to develop artistic, intellectual and athletic potential in its students. Instruction in French and Spanish begins in kindergarten. The school's curriculum places strong emphasis on the arts at all grade levels. Boys and girls in grades 6-8 deliver a five-minute assembly speech each year, and eighth graders also satisfy a 20-hour community service requirement.
