The Paideia School
1509 Ponce de Leon Ave, Atlanta, GA 30307
Paideia encompasses a half-day program (morning and afternoon sessions) for three- to five-year-olds and a full-day program for those in grades K-12. The academic curriculum is characterized by individualized instruction and achievement at a pace in keeping with the student's development. The college preparatory high school program includes classes, seminars, independent study and community service. High schoolers accumulate 60 hours of compulsory service prior to graduation. The school year comprises two long terms of approximately 15 weeks each and two short terms—one in January and one in May—of about four weeks. Short terms enable pupils to work intensively in an academic or nonacademic area of interest.
