The Overlake School
20301 NE 108th St, Redmond, WA 98053
Overlake, located on a wooded, 75-acre campus, offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum. Sports, a strong arts program, and Advanced Placement and honors courses in all major disciplines complement traditional course offerings. Service days and projects are part of the curriculum at all grade levels, and boys and girls in grades 9-12 perform 15 compulsory hours of community service annually. College counseling services are available. An important element of the curriculum is the annual Project Week, in which boys and girls participate in one of more than 30 experiential projects, ranging from Southwest backpacking to automobile engine rebuilding. Seniors complete an independent internship or community service project. Overlake provides opportunities for travel and exchange with schools in Italy, Spain, France, China and Japan. In addition, boys and girls may engage in global service projects in Cambodia and Uruguay.
