The Mirman School

16180 Mulholland Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90049

Founded by Beverly and Norman Mirman, the school provides an educational setting where academically gifted children may maximize their mental, physical, social and emotional potential. Mirman School admits only highly gifted children with IQs of 145 or above and allows students to proceed at an accelerated pace. As the student population is gifted, the curriculum stresses depth, complexity, novelty and critical thinking at all grade levels. The well-rounded educational program encompasses the arts, computer science, foreign language and sports. All boys and girls complete five hours of service per year in grades 6 and 7, eight hours annually in grades 8 and 9. Both parents and teachers conduct after-school enrichment classes and extracurricular activities at various times during the school year.
