The Learning Center for Deaf Children
848 Central St, Framingham, MA 01701
The school provides comprehensive treatment and educational services for deaf children and youth with severe social and emotional difficulties resulting from childhood trauma, mental illness and organic dysfunctions. Students receive individualized care and therapy in an environment in which approximately half of the staff are deaf, and all are proficient in American Sign Language. The program combines a full range of academic and enrichment courses with social and work training skills.
