The Kildonan School

Located on a 325-acre campus, the school serves boys and girls of average to above-average intelligence with dyslexia and language-based learning differences. Each student receives daily, one-to-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring. Other notable aspects of the program include college preparatory classes, opportunities in the arts and interscholastic athletics. Dunnabeck at Kildonan, the country's oldest camp for children with dyslexia, operates on campus. Established to address the needs of intelligent boys and girls who are underachieving or failing in their academic work due to dyslexia, this summer program's educational programming also centers around one-to-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring. Recreational activities at Dunnabeck include horseback riding, arts and crafts, and water-skiing.
