This college preparatory school provides a full elementary and secondary course of studies for boys and girls with learning differences and attentional disorders. The curriculum, which encourages exploration and creative thinking, is structured to accommodate a range of learning styles. A multisensory approach to reading incorporates the Orton-Gillingham approach. Integrated technology plays an important role in the curriculum: Interactive whiteboards are present in each class, and the school maintains several computer labs. Crosland prepares students for a variety of options upon leaving the school. On average, pupils spend three to five years at the academy, although some remain until graduation. Although Crosland does not conduct a formal summer program, students may enroll in hourly tutoring sessions. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorders, Discalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Learning Differences, Multiple Disabilities, Nonverbal Learning Differences.
