Founded as a primary boarding school for the children of expatriate planters, ISP originally leased the premises of a former hotel. After 28 years inhabiting the former home of St. Xavier’s Branch School, ISP in 2006 moved to its purpose-built campus in Batu Feringgi. The primary school follows the IB Primary Years Program. Students prepare for the IGCSE exams in grades 9 and 10, then pursue the IB Diploma in grades 11 and 12. Boarding students live in nearby houses, each hosting a maximum of 10 students.
