As the first nonsectarian school for girls in California, Hamlin continues to provide leadership in the education of young girls. Overlooking San Francisco Bay and the Marin Headlands, Hamlin reflects the diversity of San Francisco. Hamlin offers a progressive academic program balanced by physical education and the fine and performing arts. Spanish is part of the curriculum at all grade levels. Before- and after-school care and an extensive after-school activities program are available. Middle school girls may engage in club or interscholastic sports.
