The Learning Center offers programs for individuals with social and behavioral problems, communicative disorders and medical conditions that interfere with the ability to learn. Using a behavioral approach, a clinical team develops an individual program for each student. Students acquire academic skills through classroom activities, realistic practice and computer-assisted learning. Personal hygiene and household skills, as well as community living skills, are employed. Extracurricular opportunities include on-site activities and special outings. Family involvement is encouraged through participation in activities and clubs. The school accepts the following conditions: Anxiety Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Blindness/Visual Impairment, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairments, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Differences, Mood Disorder, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Pervasive Development Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
