Students with learning disabilities and attentional disorders develop basic academic skills at the school by means of a multisensory, systematic approach. Contracts, contingent rewards and social reinforcement are used to increase motivation and self-esteem. Fletcher offers full-day programs, a summer program, hourly tutoring and a supervised study hall beginning in grade 6, as well as a program for individuals with mild educational handicaps. Boys and girls accumulate 40 hours of required community service in grades 9-12. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorders, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Learning Differences, Multiple Disabilities, Nonverbal Learning Differences.
