The Felician School for Exceptional Children

The Felician School provides an educational program designed to offer individualized instruction to cognitively impaired children, as well as those with emotional disturbances and autism. Emphasis is placed on the development of cognitive, language-perceptual, self-help and social skills to prepare students for entrance into a more structured classroom setting. A prevocational program offers training in specific job skills. Group physical education and individualized physical therapy aid students with neuro-developmental difficulties. The school accepts the following conditions: Autism, Conduct Disorder, Down Syndrome, Emotional Disturbances, Intellectual Disabilities.
