The Browning School

Since its founding by John A. Browning, the school has offered a solid college preparatory program to students of varied interests and strong academic backgrounds. The curriculum offers elective courses in every department, and a wide variety of advanced courses and extracurricular activities is available. Browning participates in a cooperative program with seven other New York City schools that offers opportunities for academic sharing and extracurricular participation throughout the year. Older students may also take coordinate courses at such local girls' schools as Marymount School and Hewitt School.
