The British School in Tokyo

21-18 Shibuya 1-chome, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, 150-0002 Japan

Most of the non-Japanese pupils enrolled at the British School have no prior experience with the Japanese language. While all instruction at the school employs English as the medium, boys and girls have ample opportunities both inside and outside of school to develop Japanese language skills. The UK-style curriculum leads up to the GCSE in the upper grades. A majority of enrolled students are British, although a number of other nationalities are represented at the school.
