Arlington School is a comprehensive secondary school for boys and girls with moderate to severe emotional disturbances and learning disabilities. The school emphasizes individualized attention while tailoring its program to the student's ability level. The program's goal is to facilitate the pupil's return to his or her public or private school system. The student's home school district typically pays tuition fees. Students may elect a course of study stressing either college or career preparation. The traditional academic curriculum includes creative arts courses, and career exploration classes are available. Graduates move on to employment, two- and four-year colleges, and vocational training schools. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Emotional Disturbances, Learning Differences, Mood Disorder, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Psychosis, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia.
