The American International School

Located on a 10-acre campus in northwest Vienna, this international school was founded by the American and Canadian embassies. Although Americans account for a substantial portion of the enrollment, students from roughly 60 countries attend the school. The basic program is modeled after the American system, but preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma is available to students in the secondary program. The language of instruction is English, with pupils taking German at all grade levels.
