Founded by missionaries to provide a centrally located boarding school outside of Seoul, TCIS conducts an international curriculum in a Christian environment. The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program forms the basis of the program in elementary school. High school students pursue the IB Diploma and choose from a variety of non-IB electives. Religious activities include weekly chapel services, Bible study groups, weekend retreats, an annual Spiritual Emphasis Week, and mission trips to the Philippines, Thailand, India and Cambodia. Boarding pupils attend compulsory nightly study halls.
