Suffield Academy is a school that blends tradition, innovation, and a close community. Suffield is located on a beautiful 350-acre campus in historic Suffield, Connecticut, just 10 minutes from the Hartford Airport. The program is designed for students who seek academic challenge in a friendly, close-knit environment. Strong athletics and arts supplement our curriculum. Each student has a laptop computer and the campus is wireless. New programs and facilities include a four-year Leadership Education Program and leadership center with climbing wall and ropes courses, and a four-year college counseling program with new counseling center.

Suffield Academy is a coeducational independent secondary school serving a diverse community of boarding and day students. Our school has a tradition of academic excellence combined with a strong work ethic. A commitment to scholarship and a respect for individual differences guide our teaching and curriculum. We engender among our students a sense of responsibility, and they are challenged to grow in a structured and nurturing environment. The entire academic, athletic, and extracurricular experience prepares our students for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and active citizenship.
