St. John's Preparatory School

72 Spring St, Danvers, MA 01923

Sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers, St. John's occupies a 175-acre campus two miles from the center of town. Classes are offered at four ability levels in a curriculum that features many Advanced Placement and elective classes. Boys take compulsory religious studies classes during all four years, and students are expected to enroll in at least one fine arts course before graduation. International exchange programs with schools in Taiwan and Spain are available. Boys are encouraged to take part in St. John's wide range of extracurricular activities. Interscholastic and intramural offerings constitute the athletic program. An active campus ministry program provides retreats at all grade levels, student-centered liturgies, and ample opportunities for service locally, in other parts of the country and internationally.
