Situated in a residential area a short distance from the historic battlefields of Waterloo, St. John's offers a US-style course of study that prepares students for the SAT examinations and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. General instruction is in English, with French taught daily from nursery through grade 12, and German and Spanish optional from grade 8. Advanced Placement courses are part of the high school program. A strong intramural and interscholastic program encourages participation in a wide range of sports, and fine arts offerings are available.
