This Episcopal school was founded on property left to the Church in 1963 by Katherine McGrew Cooper, and it was named after Rt. Rev. Samuel Seabury, first bishop of the American Episcopal Church. The campus is in the country, on the side of Mt. Haleakala, a dormant volcano, overlooking West Maui, sugar and pineapple fields, and ranch and dairy country. The curriculum offers a variety of electives that includes art, music, drama, dance and computer courses. A weeklong winterim program in March provides students with work-study opportunities off campus.
