Box 2002, Sanaa, Yemen

Employing teaching methods and curriculum organization similar to those found in Europe and America, SIS enrolls students from roughly 20 countries. The four-year US-style high school curriculum includes the basic subjects and a selection of Advanced Placement courses that varies according to student demand. SIS' primary purpose is to enable each international pupil to continue his or her schooling in the home country with a minimum of adjustment problems. Boys and girls who lack fluency in English receive intensive ESL instruction. Elementary children may engage in after-school activities two afternoons per week.
