The oldest international school in Japan, Saint Maur conducts a Montessori program for children ages 2½-5, traditional elementary and middle schools, and a college preparatory course of study at the high school level. Children in the elementary school pursue the International Primary Curriculum, a specialized program that is implemented in state and international systems around the world. High schoolers prepare for the IGCSE, IB and AP examinations, with college preparation being the primary emphasis. Saint Maur also offers a French section for children in grades 1-5. The medium of instruction in this section is French instead of English.
