After serving for more than a century as a boys' school, this international school for elementary and secondary students first admitted girls in 1977. Rossall offers a wide-ranging program that accommodates boys and girls from throughout the United Kingdom and from some 30 other countries. Students learn in a traditional English boarding school environment that features both British course work (leading to the GCSE and A-level examinations) and International Baccalaureate programming (culminating with the IB Diploma).
