Rochester School for the Deaf

RSD provides a comprehensive educational program for deaf and hard-of-hearing children residing in the western and central portions of New York State. Courses of study are arranged as in public schools. Students may enter a vocational program that offers industrial and graphic arts, driver education, computer study, home economics and business science. The program of occupational and educational training provides off-campus work experience for high school juniors and seniors. Counseling is available. Home-based early childhood programs accommodate children from birth to age 3 who are deaf or hard of hearing. The school accepts the following conditions: Anorexia Nervosa, Deafness.
