Kurucesme Caddesi 87, 34345 Arnavutkoy, Istanbul, Turkey
The present-day Robert College is the result of the 1971 merger between Robert Academy for Boys, founded in 1863, and the American College for Girls, established in 1871. The university division of Robert College, the oldest American-sponsored college abroad, was given to the Turkish Government and is now the University of the Bosphorus. While its enrollment comprises a high percentage of Turkish nationals, the school accepts a limited number of international day students. English is the language of instruction in math, science, English literature, arts and physical education classes, while Turkish language and social studies courses employ Turkish.
