Pan American Christian Academy
Rua Cassio de Campos Nogueira 393, 04829-310 Sao Paulo, Brazil
Founded by American missionaries to meet the educational needs of their families, PACA now serves both the business and Christian ministry communities from the US, Brazil and other nations. English is the medium of instruction in the main program, with students pursuing a US high school diploma. A Christian worldview is emphasized in all subject areas. Interested pupils have the option of earning the Brazilian diploma by concurrently completing course work in Portuguese. The focus in kindergarten is on the development of reading, writing, oral language, math, music and art skills. An emphasis on the fundamentals continues during the elementary and middle school years, with special activities available in sports, music and drama. High schoolers choose from a selection of Advanced Placement courses. A learning lab serves boys and girls with learning disabilities.
