Palm Beach Day Academy

241 Seaview Ave, Palm Beach, FL 33480

The result of a July 2006 merger between Palm Beach Day School and the Academy of the Palm Beaches, PBDA provides a traditional curriculum with an emphasis on basic skills, enhanced by extensive extracurricular programs. Learning styles programs in the lower, middle and upper schools address special student needs. Early study of Spanish and computer in the lower grades, combined with departmentalized instruction in all subjects from grade 6, provide for entrance at the secondary level. The school conducts a two-tier community service program: Student council members perform 20 hours of service annually in grades 5-8 and 30 hours in grade 9, while other boys and girls devote eight hours to service each year in grades 7-9. The Flagler campus in West Palm Beach, which formerly housed the Academy of the Palm Beaches, serves children in grades PS-3, while the Seaview Avenue campus accommodates students in grades 4-9.
