New Hampton School

70 Main St, New Hampton, NH 03256

New Hampton offers a well-regarded program that adheres to a national model for experience-based education. Recognizing that students learn in different ways and come from varying academic backgrounds, the school designs its classes to provide different learning experiences and to accommodate boys and girls with a range of academic skills. Honors, Advanced Placement and standard college preparatory offerings are available in each discipline, as are fine and performing arts courses, academic support services and English as a Second Language instruction. Juniors and seniors may pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Participation in an after-school program is compulsory during each of the three terms. Several Saturday mornings throughout the fall and spring terms are devoted to schoolwide community service efforts. Another program, Alongside Saturdays, enables students to conduct workshops for their peers and teachers. Various other service opportunities are available during the winter term. In total, boys and girls perform at least 24 hours of required service each year.
