New Cairo British International School
PO Box 9057, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt
Founded as Heliopolis British International School to serve Cairo's international community, NCBIS moved in 1998 to its current location in a developing residential area. Based on the British National Curriculum, the academic program is adapted to the needs of the international student body. Boys and girls prepare for the Standard Assessment Tests, as well as the GCSE and A- and AS-level examinations. All secondary school students enroll in a personal, social and health education program that focuses on personal and academic growth. A Dutch stream serves children in preschool through grade 5, after which they enter the international secondary school.
