Modern Montessori School
PO Box 1941, Amman, 11821 Jordan
The Montessori approach begins in preschool and continues through grade 5. During these years, faculty employ an interactive learning process and emphasize basic skills and the development of problem-solving abilities. In grades 1-6, both English and Arabic are used as languages of instruction. Specialists teach design technology, drama, art, physical education, music and computers. Field trips and guest lecturers enrich the program. The lower senior school (grades 7 and 8) serves as a transition between the elementary and high school grades. Taught mainly in English, the upper senior school progresses from the IGCSE syllabus in grades 9 and 10 to the IB Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12.
