Milton Hershey School

PO Box 830, Hershey, PA 17033

MHS was founded by chocolate magnate Milton S. Hershey and his wife, Catherine. To be considered for enrollment, students must come from families with limited income. Pupils are provided with an educational program, clothing, meals and lodging, and assistance with health care and dental expenses during their enrollment. Each student home on campus has a married couple in residence. The extensive counseling program includes both job placement and follow-up. Students in grades 11 and 12 are assigned a laptop computer for individual and group course work, research, homework and communications. All school services are provided at no charge.
