Menaul School

301 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107

Founded by Presbyterian missionaries to serve the educational needs of Native Americans from New Mexico, Menaul now enrolls many Hispanic and Native American pupils. The curriculum emphasizes the acquisition of basic skills, critical-thinking and reasoning abilities, and facility with technology. Spirituality is an important aspect of school life: Each student attends daily chapel services and takes a religion class one semester per year. Seniors satisfy a 40-hour community service requirement.
