The school enrolls students from approximately two dozen nations, among them India, Korea, Japan, China, the US, Indonesia and a number of European countries. Aside from the regular academic curriculum, field trips to historical buildings, the zoo, the aquarium, a botanical garden, the planetarium, mountain and beach ecosystems, and government offices and agencies play an important role in the students' education. Many electives and independent study projects are available to students at the high school level. Boys and girls may prepare for the US College Boards, and Advanced Placement are part of the high school curriculum. An annual international food fair and bazaar is among Marist's special campus events.
