Conducted in the Augustinian tradition, Malvern provides a rigorous curriculum that incorporates a full complement of Advanced Placement and honors courses. Beginning in grade 6, students acquire basic computer skills and choose from a variety of computer classes, including AP computer science. Art and music electives, as well as photography, printmaking and graphic design, represent some of the arts options. Boys satisfy the following community service requirements: 10 hours in grades 9, plus engagement in three service weekends; one outside activity in grades 10 and 11, in addition to participation in three service weekends; and three service weekends in grade 12. In addition, seniors may devote a week to a community service project in Ivanhoe, VA, or Robbins, TN.
