College Rd, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 3DF England
While conducting a traditional British curriculum for the most part, Malvern College was one of the first British schools to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in the Sixth Form. The college comprises two divisions: The Downs (grades PS-8) and the senior school (grades 9-12). The Downs program begins with a Montessori early years program. French, Latin, Spanish and German constitute the foreign language program during these years. In grades 9-11, tutoring groups meet formally each week to complete academic tasks, review academic matters and discuss current campus issues. During their final two years, boys and girls either prepare for the A-level examinations or pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Pupils complete service projects within the community on Tuesday afternoons.
