Loyola Academy

1100 Laramie Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091

Founded by Rev. Henry J. Dumbach, SJ on the present campus of Loyola University of Chicago and later moved to Wilmette, the academy offers an education in the classical liberal arts. Special features of its curriculum are the Dumbach Scholars Program, for gifted and talented students, and the O'Shaughnessy Program of developmental learning, for students who need a more integrated, structured and sequential learning program. Boys and girls enroll from approximately 250 elementary and junior high schools throughout Chicago and its suburbs.
