Le Jardin Academy Le Jardin Academy

Le Jardin Academy is located on a magnificent 24 acre campus on the Windward side of the island of Oahu in Hawaii. It is just minutes from the towns of Kailua and Kaneohe, and 11 miles from Hawaii’s capital city of Honolulu.

Founded in 1961, Le Jardin is a PK-12 coeducational day school with an enrollment of 800 students. The school offers a challenging college prep curriculum, foreign language from preschool through grade 12, and is complemented by diverse extra-curricular programs. Authorized as an International Baccalaureate World school in 2009, it is the first school in Hawaii and one of only a few schools in the United States to offer all three prestigious programs. The school welcomes students from all backgrounds and provides financial assistance to qualified students.

Le Jardin is a nurturing, vigorous learning community. It is dedicated to preparing its students to take their place in the 21st century; preparing them to have an international perspective and to become young people who are good custodians of the planet and its resources. Our graduates have been accepted to top universities across the country, including Johns Hopkins, USC and Yale University.

Developing students into well rounded, caring global citizens is a priority. A variety of enriching arts, science competitions and robust athletic programs allow students to discover their own talents and interests in a nurturing environment. A sampling of sports includes Water polo, kayaking, volleyball and basketball. Our highly regarded Soccer Academy is affiliated with Chelsea (UK) Football. There are also a wide variety of enrichment activities including Model United Nations, Drama, Speech and Debate, Band/Chorus, Robotics and more.
