Laguna Blanca School

Offered in a small-class setting, Laguna Blanca's program combines college preparatory academics with ample opportunities in leadership, community service, the visual and performing arts, interscholastic athletics and student publications. One-on-one advising and college counseling are integral aspects of school life. Off-campus study options enrich the curriculum. Beginning in grade 5, students take weeklong trips that focus on natural science or college selection and preparation. Seniors participate in a required, three-week professional internship. Boys and girls perform 16 cumulative hours of required community service in grades 5-8, and another 16 total hours in grades 9-12. Grades K-4 convene on San Ysidro Road in Montecito, while grades 5-12 are conducted at Hope Ranch Park in Santa Barbara.
