Conducting a curriculum similar to that found in public elementary schools, Kenley enrolls children who typically have language-based learning disabilities and thus have special learning needs in the areas of reading, spelling, and written and oral language. Upon entry to the school, students take a battery of diagnostic tests. Kenley staff then develop a learning profile for each pupil that enables instructors to address specific learning styles and academic needs. Each class completes an annual community service project. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Aphasia, Asperger's Syndrome, Auditory Processing Disorders, Autism, Cardiac Disorders, Diabetes, Discalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy, Hemophilia, Learning Differences, Leukemia, Multiple Disabilities, Nonverbal Learning Differences, Orthopedic/Neurological Disabilities, Sickle Cell Anemia, Tourette’s Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury.
