Kamehameha Schools

567 S King St, Ste 200, Honolulu, HI 96813

The Kamehameha Schools is the sole beneficiary of the estate of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last direct descendent of the royal line of Kamehameha. Students participate in a variety of cultural activities, and the Hawaiian studies program offers courses addressing the social, cultural and political issues that face Hawaiians. Ninety percent of tuition costs are subsidized by the estate, and district and orphan quotas, as well as a state residency requirement, are considered during the admission process.
